The team you’ll be working in

Working within the Logistics team, you will be responsible for providing fast efficient and effective administration support for both the Export/Goods out team and Stores/Goods in team.

What you’ll be doing

So that you can get a feel for the job, here is what you will be doing day to day:

· Provide administration support for the Export/Goods out team and Stores/Goods in team

· Ensure all UK dispatches are booked with transport companies in a timely manner

· Process goods in delivery notes and maintain goods in delivery log with support of Goods in Team Leader

· Keep in close contact with customers on export document changes and maintain shipping rules

· Maintain Export shipping log to ensure CMR/Proof of export documents are received and given to accounts

· Work closely with purchasing to ensure any incoming goods issues are dealt with in a timely manner

· Organise Import shipments working closely with the purchasing team

· Liaise with Customer Services regarding Shopify dispatches by sending daily dispatch updates

· Maintain and deliver 5S practices within the office areas

· Work closely with other departments to ensure the company achieve its objectives

· Deliver other reasonable duties the business requires

What you’ll need to succeed

Need to know

· Detailed knowledge and understanding of goods out and export processes

· Good understanding of Shipping/Incoterms

· Good knowledge of 5S practices

· Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations

Need to have

· Proven experience in a similar role

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Knowledge of shipping rules on exports and imports

· Can-do, problem-solving approach

· Ability to adapt and thrive under pressure

· Customer centric focus, both internal and external

Hours of work are 40 hours per week – 08:00-17.00 Mon –Thu / 08:00-15:45 Fri

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum depending on experience.

Location: Hixon, Stafford (rural location)
